Accreditation

Coordination of thorough, effective, timely, and sustainable college responses to Accrediting Commission recommendations, including resolution of urgent issues that resulted in sanction (Warning, Probation, or Show Cause)
Evaluation of progress on Commission recommendations, and of strengths and weaknesses with respect to the Standards, with prescriptions for specific sustainable improvements in preparation for the next accreditation report or team visit
Facilitation of customized workshops to address areas of particular concern
Preparation of accreditation progress reports with appropriate participatory-governance input

Student Learning Outcomes

Evaluation of existing student learning outcomes, service outcomes, administrative outcomes, and assessment methods
Development of sound, meaningful outcomes and assessment methods
Facilitation of customized workshops to facilitate improvement of effectiveness in student learning outcomes

Program Review

Evaluation of existing program review systems in light of sound practice and accreditation standards
Development and implementation of meaningful and manageable program review processes, particularly in noninstructional areas

Integrated Planning: Strategic Planning, Educational Master Planning, and Unit Planning and Resource Allocation

Evaluation of existing planning structures, processes, and results
Development and implementation of effective planning structures and processes at all levels, including integration of assessment, planning, resource allocation, and institutional improvement
Coordination of a campus-wide intensive effort to develop a Strategic Planning Framework supported by faculty, staff, and administration

Institutional Research and Evaluation of Programs and Services

Evaluation of college performance on accountability measures
Organization and management of the institutional research function
Creation of reports for accreditation, strategic planning, and other processes at the unit, department, college, and district levels
Student services evaluation
Evaluation of existing or proposed surveys, and preparation, administration, and analysis of new surveys

Campus Climate and Participatory Governance

Facilitation of customized workshops to improve the extent and effectiveness of participation in shared governance
Evaluation of participatory-governance policies and procedures in accord with applicable regulations

Organization and facilitation of workshops and presentations for administration, faculty, and staff on a variety of topics, including accreditation, strategic planning, program review, student learning outcomes and service outcomes, participatory governance, enrollment management, and understanding research

Evaluation of existing policies and procedures in light of model recommendations by the Community College League of California
Preparation of new and revised policy and procedure drafts for review and adoption
